A hidden bar with live music and good vibes

FSN Bar is on the 3rd floor of a building tucked away on a narrow street in Pontocho. Since it is well hidden, you would typically see regulars such as locals and expats from Kyoto. The bar owner is Chez Philippe who is from France and he speaks to his regulars in French, English, and Japanese. It might be a bit intimidating to enter a bar with a bunch of regulars but there's no time to worry because as soon as you sit down, Philippe will give you a warm welcome. A few chats and drinks with Philippe and regulars and you will feel just like one of them! Aside from them, the bar hosts a lot of live music such as folk, celtic, and jazz. It's not unusual to see people dancing around singing along with the bands. Professional musicians like Derek Short frequently play at this bar out of their own choice!
