Using silk to get beautiful skin!

In the past, in Kyoto's Hanamachi, the secret to fair, beautiful skin was to brush your skin with silk cloth. Maiko (apprentice geisha) who brushed their skin with silk were said to have "tama no hada", or "jewel skin". And now you too can have beautiful, healthy "jewel skin" thanks to the carefully-made products sold here at Kyoto Silk.

The Gokomachi Main Store is based in a repaired merchant house that has been standing for over 90 years, and it has won a number of awards for design.
