Ishiguro Kouho

It has been said since ancient times that there is "Kojutoku", which mentions 10 different benefits to the use of fragrances, and scented pouches such as these have been used as insect repellants since the Heian era (794 to 1185).
Hide them in a handbag or sleeves of kimono or use them as decorations in a room; one of the best things about them is all the different ways they can be used!

Established in 1855, Ishiguro Kouho are the only specialist makers of "nioi bukuro", Japanese scented pouches. They both sell the little bags and perform demonstrations of how they are made.
