A Breathtakingly Beautiful Zen Garden

Tenryu-ji Temple is a rather quaint temple lying in the forests of the Arashiyama area, and is famed for it's astoundingly beautiful zen garden. The garden and temple grounds itself are so well regarded, that they have been nominated as one of Japan's cultural properties, noted as a "Special Place of Scenic Beauty". There are a lot of worshippers especially at the time of autumn leaves, and it is a recommended spot of arashiyama sightseeing without a doubt that the person who likes nature is attracted.
