Non-Japanese visitors and those with children are also welcome. You'll get a thorough explanation of the origins of tea ceremony, as well as of the necessary movements and mindset.
You can also enjoy higashi biscuits with your matcha. Matcha brewed so conscientiously, with you paying careful attention to each of your own movements, will truly be something special.

At En Tea Ceremony, there is also an art and sake tasting tour. There's an ukiyo-e shop, an antique kimono shop, and three types of Nihon-shu (Japanese liquor), so you can enjoy Japanese culture from yet another perspective.
