See the Thousand Torii Gates in Tokyo!

5-minute walk from Nezu Station, Todaimae Station, and Sendagi Station.
Nezu Shrine was founded around 1900 years ago in Sendagi, but was later moved to its current location in nearby Nezu in Bunkyo Ward.
Numerous buildings are still standing unaltered since their construction in 1706, and have been designated as an important cultural site by the state.
The grounds are set ablaze with around 3000 stocks of blooming azalea every April.
The shrine is a nice getaway spot for those who want a break from the concrete jungle that is Tokyo.
